Furniture Painting

I recently visited a childhood friend and her home is just beautiful with many unique touches in all the rooms. I had to ask how did you find these items! To my surprise most of the furniture were things that I had already seen all she did was paint or change certain things to make it more unique. Let's just say that sparked my interest to do something with my furniture. I had to start with my room and by the looks of everything you might realize I take a long time to finish my goals. I do them but just takes longer. I am still not sure why blue because I am spoiled with the Cali weather but still wanted to bring some light to my room. Home depot is honestly the best, you can do the whole virtual view before even committing to anything. Let me know your painting tips!

Future Party Planner?

The possibility crossed my mind due to this whole summer, I somehow found myself organizing and planning baby showers, baby gender reveals, birthday parties and social gatherings. That was a mouthful! I am taking this moment to write that I am in awe by all the blessings my family and friends have received this year. By the way the year is almost to the end and guess what! HOLIDAYS are in the countdown. I must admit I am summer Cali girl. But there is something about everyone spirits that bring a lot more joy than any other type of the year. A few things to remember when planning it is mus to choose a theme, the moment that is chosen everything else will flow much easier. If you have a few weeks to plan, look for specials, buy things little by little and it seriously won't hurt your wallet at the day of the event. I mainly used pin interest for inspirations but I did my own twist to many of the things I saw from there. The main event was Amy's surprise baby shower #2. Being a hostess is not a joke, there is a lot do's and don't. Let me know your guidelines.

2015

We have started a New Year, but many times we focused too much on the new things that we will be doing, All these new goals eventually make us feel overwhelmed. The small changes or choices we make everyday are what last longer throughout life. One thing I noticed that helped me these past few weeks is to set my goals and accomplishments again. And something to help stay accountable would be doing my inspirations boards. I started off this year with many positive goals and after all the positive energy gone, from many surrounding me, I needed to do something else and find my own inspiration within, Let me tell you it is much difficult said than done. However, we know this journey of life requires you take it one day at time and make it count. 

I challenge you to do an inspiration board of your goals and accomplishment you set yourself on January 1st. It can either be on pin interest or old school (board and magazines) but do them to remind you this is just the start. Happy 2015! Let's continue to fill our pages with memories.
